Although Yuba College teaches all aspects of veterinary technology, we specialize in large animal care and management, shelter medicine, laboratory animal medicine and public health.
Nationally Accredited by the AVMA
Upon completion of the 2 year, American Veterinary Medical Association accredited program, the student will have completed the requirements for an Associate in Science Degree. This qualifies graduates to take the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE).
National Board Licensing
Graduates must pass the Veterinary Technician National Exam as one of the required steps to becoming a registered veterinary technician.
